Honeybees are the one creature on this earth that does not create any harm. They are inherently altruistic. Even their sting is medicinal! Every action they take only serves to create more abundance and beauty. If we all learned to be a bit more like bees, we could create a harmonious world where everyone thrives.
what does it mean to
‘be like bees’?
Adaptability - honeybees have been here for over 120 million yrs. they know how to adapt to new changes and challenges, and can teach us a lot about how to flow with the changes rather than becoming rigid and resisting.
Health - What bees need to be healthy (clean air, water, soil, etc), is also what humans need to be healthy! Every substance produced by the hive is also profoundly medicinal to human beings - even the sound of humming bees is restorative to our nervous systems! Through creating environments that support the bees, we will inevitably support ourselves.
Community - Honeybees are what we call a ‘superorganism,’ meaning that all individuals in the hive function collectively as one organism. No single bee can survive by herself. Each individual within the hive is devoted to a purpose (much like cells in our bodies), and they work harmoniously together to create a beautiful society, full of abundance. Humans are also not meant to function in isolation. We all have a soul purpose we are born with, and when all individuals become devoted to our purpose we can function together as a human superorganism, creating harmony on earth.
Unconditional love - The bees are a pure embodiment of unconditional love. They are what in Hawaiian is referred to as ‘pono’ which means goodness, and to always do right by themselves, others, and the greater environment around them.
